Over the past few months we’ve been taking to the streets to learn how people think about their own data. Do they think it has value? Are they open to sharing it? If so, why? Who do they trust more, companies or governments with their data?

At JLI we advocate for people to be in control of their data, especially when it comes to health. It’s important to us that we understand the general mood on the street. It helps to experiment with new ideas and get a sense of the urgency people feel.

JLI’s Max Lange and Dorte Hopmans created a new series called Word on the Street. From the Netherlands to Uganda, we’re open to all perspectives. We’ll be updating this page with more interviews as we hear from more people.
