When Joep Lange and his partner, Jacqueline van Tongeren, died in 2014, his five devastated children had no clue what people were talking about when they discussed his incredible legacy. To give the children a better understanding of what their father did and what he meant to Africa and the world, the Joep Lange Institute took them to Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda in November 2016 to show them some of the projects that their father had initiated and worked on. The Joep Lange Institute hoped that they would see and feel why the world was devastated by Joep’s death. This film tells that story.
